What independent reviewers found

We have not tested this camera ourselves; findings below are attributed to the named reviewers.

A recent independent test found a reliable feed, clear visuals, an easy app and relatively low two-way-audio delay. The major functional limitation is that panning is manual: the camera does not automatically follow a pet.

Strengths reported in testing

  • Digital Camera World described the live feed as reliable and the app as easy to use.
  • The same test found clear audio with less delay than rival cameras, including Bites 2 Lite.

Limitations reported in testing

  • Movement is controlled manually in the app; the reviewed model did not automatically track pets.
  • The tester noted some microphone reverb and distortion, especially for sound outside the room.

What owners report: We did not find a sufficiently specific, repeated pattern of long-term failures in the owner reports checked.

Privacy and household fit

  • Cloud plan needed for event history
  • Motorized coverage can observe more of a room
  • Current 2FA control not documented in reviewed sources

Privacy and security review

Encryption
Petcube's privacy policy says its services use SSL and that passwords are one-way encrypted. We did not find current end-to-end video-encryption details in the information checked.
Account security
A current Petcube two-factor-authentication control was not found in the reviewed support and policy sources.
Where recordings go
Event history is stored through optional Petcube Care; no local recording route is documented for Cam 360.
Deletion controls
The device can be disconnected in the app and factory-reset by pressing its rear button seven times, which Petcube says removes Wi-Fi credentials and linked authentication tokens.
Security support
Petcube lists Cam 360 security updates through 31 December 2028, with possible extended support.
Advisory history
We did not find a Cam 360-specific public advisory in the sources checked. Petcube publishes a vulnerability-disclosure route and response process.

Privacy information checked . “Not found” means the control was not documented in the sources we reviewed; it does not prove the control is absent.
